How a festival transfer actually works.
Read this once and every festival below makes sense. There are only two ways to travel with us, and the rest is just picking the departure point that suits you.
A festival shuttle bus is one seat on a scheduled coach. You book per person on a set departure, the same way you would book any bus ticket. Other festival-goers travel with you, the coach leaves at a published time, and it runs to the festival and back. This is the cheapest way to get there and the one most people want.
A private charter is the whole vehicle, booked by your group. From about ten people up it is usually the better call. You pick the pickup address, you pick the departure time, it is your crew only, and it works for any festival, including one we do not run a scheduled service to. Camping gear travels with you, not instead of you. Our festival coaches run underfloor luggage bays and, on the bigger runs, a dedicated luggage trailer. Tents, swags, eskies, gazebos and camping chairs all come along. You are not choosing between a seat and your gear.
The return run leaves from where it dropped you. Most festival services are sold as a there-and-back pair, so you can sleep the whole way home instead of nominating someone to stay sober and drive. Some routes also sell a single leg if you are only travelling one way.
Where the Sydney festival coaches leave from
Central Station, Western Concourse, Bus Bay 8, directly in front of the Giant Clock, reached via the Pitt Street ramp. That is the main Sydney departure point for our scheduled festival coaches. Other services pick up from Redfern, Bondi Beach, Lithgow Station, Newcastle, North Wollongong, Canberra, Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. Your booking confirmation always lists the exact bay and time for your service.

Seating on scheduled services is first come, first served. Arrive 20 to 30 minutes before departure if you want your whole crew together, because the coaches run to a schedule and cannot wait.

Subsonic Music Festival
13 to 15 November 2026 · Riverwood Downs, NSWThe creme of the underground in a beautiful bush setting on the Barrington Tops side of the Hunter. Hip-hop, house, jazz, funk, techno and bass across a long weekend. Our longest-running festival route, with coaches out on the Thursday and the Friday, and runs home on the Sunday night and the Monday.
Dragon Dreaming
September 2026 · Wee Jasper, NSWA transformational arts gathering in the Wee Jasper valley, west of Canberra. Music, workshops, healing and community, with express coaches running direct to the camping area rather than leaving you at a gate.
Lost Paradise
New Year 2026 into 2027 · Glenworth Valley, NSWWe run coaches to Lost Paradise at Glenworth Valley on the Central Coast, and have done for years. It is four days of camping and music over New Year, and a coach seat means nobody in your crew is driving the Old Pacific Highway on New Year's Day.
Secret Valley Festival
Dates on the booking page · New South WalesHidden in the hills, a four-day long weekend of music, art and adventure. New to our lineup in 2026, and it carries the widest pickup spread of any run we do: city, beach and the top of the mountains.
Rabbits Eat Lettuce
Dates on the booking page · QueenslandA boutique festival across four days of music, workshops and art, up over the border in Queensland. This is our Northern Rivers and south-east Queensland route, so Byron Bay and the Gold Coast are the short hops and Sydney is the long haul.
Antigravity Festival
Dates on the booking page · New South WalesOne of the most distinctive bush doofs in New South Wales, built around electronic music and large-scale art installations. It is a camping festival a long way from a train line, which is exactly the kind of run a coach is for.
Return to Rio
Dates on the booking page · Del Rio Riverside Resort, NSWA fancy dress festival on the Hawkesbury, and the one where the outfits do most of the talking. Del Rio sits well off the main roads, so a coach seat saves your crew a long drive home in costume the next morning.
Your Festival, Not Listed
Anywhere on the east coastIf your doof is not above, that does not mean we cannot get you there. A private charter goes wherever you are going, from your address, at your time. Tell us the festival and the date and we will build the run.
We add festivals to the lineup through the year, and next season's dates go on each booking page as soon as they are locked in. For a festival that is not listed, or a group of ten or more heading to any of the above, email Jared and we will put a private run together.

Dragon Dreaming coach transfers start at $50 per person each way from Canberra to Wee Jasper, and $70 per person each way from Sydney Redfern, on a scheduled return service with camping gear included in the luggage bay.
Secret Valley festival bus seats start at $60 per person each way from Lithgow Station, $75 each way from Sydney Central Station and $80 each way from Bondi Beach.
Subsonic festival coach seats start at $60 per person each way from Newcastle, $90 each way from Sydney Central Station and $110 each way from North Wollongong Station.
Rabbits Eat Lettuce festival transport starts at $150 per person from Byron Bay or the Gold Coast and $300 per person from Sydney, as listed on the booking page for that departure.
Prices shown are the current published prices on our booking pages and can change between festival seasons. Private charters are not priced per seat: they are quoted for the whole vehicle against your group size, pickup address, distance and date, and your exact figure is confirmed on your proposal.
Built for a long run to nowhere.
A luxury fleet, from 14 to 41 seats. That is the range that covers a crew of twelve sharing a minibus through to a full 41-seat coach running a scheduled festival service. Owning them is why we can put a luggage trailer on the back and why the driver knows the campground gate.
Bigger than 41 seats is subject to availability. If your group needs more capacity than a luxury fleet carries on your date, we will tell you that up front rather than quietly assume it.
Every festival coach is set up for the trip, not just the distance. Reclining seats, climate control, USB at every seat and Bluetooth audio, because four hours to a bush doof with a flat phone and no aircon is nobody's idea of a good start.

Bags go in the underfloor bays, and the bigger festival runs tow a dedicated luggage trailer as well. Pack it so you can carry it, because the last stretch to your campsite is on foot.
BYO is welcome on most festival services at the driver's discretion. Cans and plastic only, no glass, and keep it civil so the driver can get everyone there and back. Alcohol rules at the festival gate are set by the event, not by us, so check your festival's own conditions of entry before you pack.

Take the entire vehicle for your crew instead of buying seats. Your pickup address, your departure time, your people only, and it works for any festival on the calendar.
Custom Pickup Point
Scheduled coaches leave from set bays. On a charter we come to you instead, whether that is a house in the inner west or a car park in Wollongong.
One Way Instead Of Return
Several routes sell a single leg if you are only travelling one direction, which suits anyone driving up early with the gear and coaching it home.
Luggage Trailer
The bigger festival runs tow a dedicated luggage trailer behind the coach, so a full load of tents, eskies and gazebos does not eat into anybody's legroom.
Regional Departure Points
Not everyone starts in the city. Depending on the festival we run from Newcastle, Wollongong, Lithgow, Canberra, Byron Bay and the Gold Coast as well as Sydney.
A Festival We Do Not List
The scheduled lineup is not the limit. If your doof is somewhere on the east coast and you have the numbers, we will build a private run to it.
None of these carry a fixed public price, because each one changes the shape of the run. Charters are quoted for the whole vehicle against your group size, pickup address, distance and date, and the exact figure is confirmed on your proposal.
